Marginalized Youth and Contemporary Educational Contexts : Youth Art Contest
Have your art published and/or win $100 cash prize!
Let your art be your voice and express yourself in the "Marginalized Youth and Contemporary Educational Contexts" edited book by Dr. Kate Tilleczek and Dr. Bruce Ferguson from the Community Health Systems Resource Group, a department in The Hospital for Sick Children.
The idea for the "Marginalized Youth and Contemporary Educational
Contexts" edited book was derived from the Marginalized Youth in Contemporary Contexts symposium on May 13th, 2009. It was intended to inform policy and practice by supporting youth's voices through research in order to raise awareness on this subject.
This book will feature a collection of national and international research on this topic, in addition to an assortment of youth's art to further articulate their perspective on marginalization.
