Understanding Girls

“A Focus on Relationships: Understanding and Addressing Girls Aggressive Behaviour Problems” was held on November 26th, 2007. The symposium was a great success and focused on understanding the risk and protective factors related to girls’ aggression with an emphasis on effective interventions for girls of all ages.

Dr. Debra Pepler, Senior Associate Scientist with the Community Health Systems Resource Group, hosted the symposium along with her international colleagues to address and discuss the current research in the field.

An edited book by the keynote speakers and discussants is currently being produced. Information on how to obtain a copy will be posted on this site, closer to the book's release date.
